Larry Wash
CEO and Chairman

As CEO and Chairman of Albireo Energy, Larry Wash brings 30+ years of experience growing, operating and scaling OEM and independent services businesses. He is a leading industry authority and thought leader on high-performance and smart buildings, and services-led growth.

Prior to Albireo, Larry advised and served on the Boards of several middle-market PE firms and their portfolio companies guiding M&A, growth and operational strategies for scale. Firms include Warburg Pincus, Victor Capital Partners, Ontario Teacher’s Pension Plan, Saw Mill Capital and Coalesce Capital. Larry currently serves on several Boards including SLIPNOT/Traction Technologies, Vantage Elevator Systems and Climate Pros. Previously, Larry held several senior positions including CEO of KONE Americas, President of Ingersoll Rand and Trane Global Services, and Vice President of Services for Xerox Corporation.

Larry is passionate about services because it’s a people business – and believes that investment in great people delivers unmatched results for customers, suppliers, employees and the business overall.

Kevin Baxter
President

Kevin has 25+ years as a senior executive in the building products and services industry, currently serving as President of Albireo Energy and a member of the Board of Directors. He is responsible for the company’s growth strategy including overall accountability for the sales performance. Kevin serves on the Board of Directors of Criticore, an electrical services company. Kevin was the President of Munch’s Supply, a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies from 100 industry-leading manufacturers.

He spent 15+ years with Trane where he was recruited in 2005 to drive service and controls contracting growth and evolve the brand beyond HVAC equipment. Kevin did this through a variety of roles of increasing importance globally, throughout North America, and in key high growth local markets. Earlier in his career, Kevin worked at KONE and Montgomery Elevators in a variety of service and sales roles. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Iowa State University.

Greg Davidson
Chief Information Officer

Greg has 30+ years of buildings and controls industry experience, currently serving as CIO. He strengthens business systems and technology tools, including sales pipeline management, forecasting, invoicing, and accounts payable, and is a driving force behind our intelligent service offerings. Greg was CIO for Murphy USA and has decades of experience in technology product development, ERP system implementation, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Greg earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Wayne State University.

Perri Richman
Chief Marketing Officer

Perri has 20+ years of controls industry experience, currently serving as the CMO and sustainability leader. She stewards the company brand, uses marketing strategies to create growth, and builds sustainability principles into the way the company operates and serves. Perri served as a CMO mid-market industrial companies and was a sustainability advisor for biopharmaceutical companies. She held roles of increasing importance at Ingersoll Rand, Trane Technologies, and American Standard. Perri earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from New York University and a master’s degree in industrial / organizational psychology from the University of Hartford.

Keith Segear
Chief HR Officer

Keith has 20+ years of engineering and building industry experience, currently serving as CHRO. He leads our overall people strategy, ensuring that the company continues to attract, develop, retain, and engage our most valuable asset. Keith was the head of HR at Keller North America and has previously worked across the buildings industry at engineering companies, industrial suppliers, and design-build contractors. Keith earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in HR and employee relations from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional and has a Strategic HR Business Partner certification from the Human Capital Institute.

Vic Thomas
Chief Financial Officer

Vic Thomas is CFO and has 25+ years of financial leadership with a specialty in mechanical services and construction industries. He previously led finance for KONE Americas, a global provider of elevators, escalators and automatic doors, and was promoted numerous times during his tenure. Vic also held roles with Loomis, a cash management handling and transportation business, and with Exide Technologies / GNB Industrial Power. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and public accounting, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.

Brad Freeman
Senior VP,
Operations

Brad has 30+ years of controls industry experience, currently serving as SVP of Operations. He’s responsible for building strategic execution capabilities including bolstering operations and project management tools processes, developing field operations teams, and managing business systems.

He was President and owner of Energy Options, which specialized in the data center, pharmaceutical and commercial real estate markets, and acquired by Albireo Energy in 2014. Brad earned a bachelors degree in electrical and electronics engineering from DeVry University.

Todd Simmonds
Senior VP, West Territory

Todd has 20+ years of controls industry experience, currently serving as SVP of the West Territory. He is accountable for the full P&L of the west including sales, operations and support functions.

Todd spent 19 years at Trane, serving in various contracting solutions and national account leadership positions, and also held sales and operations roles of increasing importance at Johnson Controls. He earned an MBA from the University of Dallas – Irving and a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from the University of Utah.

Bob Murphy
VP Environment, Health,
& Safety

Bob has 30+ years of buildings and controls industry experience, currently serving as VP of EHS. He is building our safety culture by implementing standard processes, procedures and policies, and regularly conducts job walks and technician ride-a-longs while reviewing our PPE and training needs. Bob served in senior safety roles with HomeServe North America, Safety Suez, Sims Metal Management, Trane and Ingersoll Rand and National Grid. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology from Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in environmental health from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He holds numerous safety certifications.

Nigel Fowler
Managing Director,
Europe

As Managing Director of Europe, Nigel Fowler brings 30+ years of HVAC and buildings experience, 14 of which have been spent in international P&L and leadership roles in Europe or EMEIA region. In his last role before joining Albireo Energy’s leadership team, Nigel spent 8 years in equipment, services and contracting roles, most recently as EMEA region turnkey business development leader. Nigel holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Glamorgan in the UK and has earned a qualification in HVAC engineering from the Trane Graduate Program in the US.

Vince Koren
Regional Vice President,
Mid-Atlantic

Vince has 30+ years of buildings and controls industry experience, currently serving as VP & GM of the Mid-Atlantic region. With roots in field activities at Carrier Corporation through mass building automation system deployments at Penn State University, he transitioned to EMS Technologies 15 years ago where he served in various leadership roles within operations, sales and general management. Vince brings a technical, client focused and solution-based approach as his division deploys highly customized solutions and design support to critical systems around the region.

Bob Sutter
Regional Vice President,
Northeast

As Regional Vice President of Albireo Energy’s Northeast Region, Bob brings over 30 years of experience in sales, operations and management in the technical services industry. Prior to joining the company, Bob served as President of JBL Electric, general manager of Johnson Controls’ New York office, division lead of construction for Siemens Building Technologies in New York and New Jersey and general manager of Trane New Jersey’s Controls Division. Bob graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a B.S. in industrial engineering and an M.S. in engineering management.
