In 2019, the Washington State passed the Clean Building Performance Standard, also known as the House Bill (HB) 1257. The first round of HB 1257 Energy Reporting deadlines for commercial buildings 50,000+ square feet are looming ahead.
- June 1, 2026 — Buildings greater than 220,000 square feet
- June 1, 2027 — Buildings between 90,000 – 220,000 square feet
- June 1, 2028 — Buildings between 50,000 – 90,000 square feet
