Alnylam trusted Albireo to design and install all of its systems in addition to helping the company stay in compliance with manufacturing regulations. A Delta Controls BACnet building automation system integrates the central utility plant into the building automation system. The system controls all of the HVAC equipment servicing the manufacturing suites and R&D areas in the building and laboratories. All the labs are fitted with integrated controls solutions, and comfort cooling was installed in the office and support areas.
Albireo also assisted with the design and installation of the gas monitoring system. All the data from Alnylam’s controls roll up into one main computer system so that Alnylam technicians can view, manage and operate the facility efficiently.
