Albireo Energy has completed a variety of controls projects at the University of Alabama since 2001.
The campus boasts some of the best products on the market: more than 300 JACEs—one of the largest fleets in the country—that monitor 400 buildings. These compact controllers/servers connect the campus’s wide range of devices and subsystems.
The Niagara framework was installed to allow UA to manage and control the diverse campus systems. Five Tridium enterprise servers run the BAS package at the campus. These virtualized servers back a data center dedicated to UA’s mixture of facilities such as dorms, classrooms and labs. Our team controls the central utilities buildings and developed a custom energy management dashboard for the campus.
Albireo continues to work daily with the University of Alabama and its staff to monitor campus facilities for emergency situations.
