University of Colorado Boulder
University unifies BAS, designed for a campus that has grown to 200+ buildings
Situation: The university has grown to nearly 13 million sq ft of buildings to support growing numbers of students, academics and research. The school has chosen to modernize the BAS in some of its older buildings to provide a unified, campus-wide system for environmental control.
Solutions:
- Developed, engineered and commissioned a world-class BAS that connects 200+ campus buildings
- Developed a unified management framework to monitor thousands of controllers campus-wide
- Engineered features that support special use facilities, including labs for biological and biomedical sciences and engineering
Results: University can now manage the entire campus from a centralized management console
Denver Art Museum's BAS provides precise temperature and humidity control to protect 70,000 art objects
Situation: The museum needed precise control of temperature and humidity to protect its art collection, which makes up the largest art holdings between Chicago and the West Coast. It wanted a BAS to control two galleries, one of which totaled 210,000 square feet and the other totaled 146,000 square feet. In addition to protecting its own collection, the precise controls were a requirement for hosting traveling art exhibitions from across the world.

Senior Living Service
Situation: A leading provider of senior living services operates more than 20 senior living campuses across the US. Each campus includes between eight and 16 buildings for living, dining, administration, recreation, healthcare and other uses. Environmental controls are important to the comfort of its residents and the company needed a BAS with the flexibility to control energy, lighting, physical access and other building services across each building in the campus.
